If you're driving, head towards Stromness, which is located on the west coast of Orkney. From Kirkwall, take the A961 road towards Stenness. Once you arrive in Stromness, look for signs directing you to the Skara Brae Visitor Centre, which is located about 6 miles west of the town center. There is parking available at the Visitor Centre.
