Car
If you are driving from Perthshire, head south on the A9 until you reach the M90. Merge onto the M90 towards Edinburgh. Take the exit toward M8 and merge onto the M8 motorway. Continue on the M8 for approximately 30 km. Take exit 1 for A720 towards Edinburgh South and merge onto the A720. Continue on the A720 until you reach the B701. Follow the B701 and then turn right onto Craiglockhart Road. Follow the signs to Craiglockhart Castle, which will be on your left. Parking may be available near the site.

Public Transportation
To reach Craiglockhart Castle via public transportation, take a train from Perth to Edinburgh Waverley Station. The journey takes about 1 hour and costs around £12-£15. Once at Waverley Station, take the Lothian Buses service 27 towards South Gyle Broadway. Get off at the Craiglockhart, Craiglockhart Road stop. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk to Craiglockhart Castle. Head southwest on Craiglockhart Road, and the castle will be on your right. Make sure to check the bus schedule as services may vary.
