Car
From Roxburghshire, take the A68 road heading north towards Jedburgh. Continue on the A68 until you reach the A1 junction. Merge onto the A1 heading east towards Berwick-upon-Tweed. After approximately 30 miles, take the exit for the A1167 towards Holy Island. Follow the A1167, and then take the causeway road leading to Holy Island. Please be aware of the tidal schedules, as the causeway is only accessible at low tide. Once on the island, follow the signs to Lindisfarne Castle.

From Jedburgh, take a bus to Berwick-upon-Tweed, which may take around 30-45 minutes. Once in Berwick-upon-Tweed, transfer to the bus service that operates to Holy Island. Please check the local bus schedules, as they may vary by day and season. The bus will take you directly to Holy Island. Upon arrival, follow the signs to Lindisfarne Castle. Ensure to check the tidal timings, as the island is only accessible at low tide.
