If you're traveling by car, start on the A9 from Inverness, heading north. Continue on the A9 for approximately 40 miles until you reach the junction for Tain (A836). Take the exit towards Tain and follow the A836 for about 10 miles. Upon entering Tain, follow signs for the A9 towards Balintore. After about 5 miles, you will reach Balintore. The Mermaid of the North is located on East St. Look for the large statue near the coastline. Parking is available nearby, and there may be a small fee for parking in certain areas.
