Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Windsor Castle, exit the castle grounds and head towards the main street, High Street. Walk along High Street until you reach the junction with Castle Hill. Turn left onto Castle Hill, which will lead you to the Long Walk. Continue walking straight along the Long Walk, where you will enjoy beautiful views of the park and the castle in the distance. After about 20 minutes of walking, you will see the King George III & His Horse Statue on your right as you approach the end of the Long Walk.

    If you are starting from Windsor Royal Shopping, exit the shopping center and head towards the main road, Thames Street. Turn left on Thames Street and walk until you reach the junction with the Long Walk. Turn right onto the Long Walk and continue straight for about 15 minutes until you see the King George III & His Horse Statue on your left, just before the open green space.
