Walking
From Windsor Castle, head east on Castle Hill towards the High Street. Continue straight onto the High Street. Walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the end of the High Street and the junction with St. Leonard's Road. Turn left onto St. Leonard's Road and walk until you reach the train station, Windsor & Eton Central. Take a train to London Waterloo, which typically takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Waterloo Station, exit the station and follow the signs to the Underground. Take the Bakerloo Line northbound towards Queen's Park and get off at Charing Cross Station. From Charing Cross, exit onto the Strand and walk eastward for about 10 minutes until you reach Somerset House on your right.

From Windsor Bus Station, take the Green Line 702 bus heading towards London. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Get off at the stop near Victoria Embankment. From there, walk east on the Embankment towards the Strand for about 10 minutes, and you will see Somerset House on your left.

Train and Walking
Start at Windsor & Eton Central train station. Take a train towards London Paddington, but get off at Slough station (about 8 minutes). At Slough, transfer to the train going to London Paddington and get off at London Paddington station. From Paddington, follow the signs to the Bakerloo Line and take the train towards Elephant & Castle. Get off at Charing Cross and exit onto the Strand. Walk east for about 10 minutes, and Somerset House will be on your right.
