Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, head towards York city center. From the A64, take the exit towards York. Follow the signs for the city center, and as you approach, look for signs directing you to 'York Minster'. Barley Hall is located just off Stonegate, near the Minster. Use the address 2 Coffee Yard, York YO1 8AR in your GPS for the most accurate directions. Be aware that parking in York can be limited and may incur costs, so plan to use one of the city’s car parks, such as the Marygate Car Park or the Union Terrace Car Park.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a train to York Station. From the station, it's a 15-minute walk to Barley Hall. Exit the station and head northeast on Station Road, then turn left onto Toft Green. Continue on, and then turn right onto the A1036 (Nunnery Lane). Follow the road until it becomes Museum Street, then turn left onto St. Leonard's Place. Continue onto Stonegate, and you will find Coffee Yard on your left. If you prefer not to walk, you can catch a local bus or a taxi from the station to get closer to Barley Hall.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from York Station or anywhere in the city to Barley Hall. Taxis are available outside the station and at various points around the city. The journey should take about 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic, and will typically cost around £5-£10.

• Bicycle

  For the more adventurous, consider cycling to Barley Hall. York has a number of bike rental services available. You can cycle from various points in the city center, following the designated bike lanes. Barley Hall is accessible via the same routes as pedestrians. Remember to park your bicycle securely once you arrive.
