If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major city, which is Price, Utah. Head east on US-6 E for approximately 25 miles until you reach the junction with UT-191 N. Turn left onto UT-191 N and continue for about 30 miles. Look for signs indicating the Book Cliffs area. As you approach the Book Cliffs, you will turn onto a dirt road leading to the arch. Be aware that a high-clearance vehicle is recommended for this section of the road. Follow the unpaved road for roughly 5 miles until you reach the parking area for Dutchman Arch.

For those using public transportation, take a bus or train to Price, Utah. From Price, there may be limited shuttle services or local taxis that can take you to the Book Cliffs area. Once you arrive at the vicinity of Book Cliffs, you will likely need to hike the remaining distance. Be prepared for a hike of about 2-3 miles from the nearest drop-off point. Ensure to bring sufficient water and snacks, as well as suitable hiking shoes, as the terrain can be rugged and uneven.
