Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, you can reach Mesa Arch by heading east from any location in Book Cliffs. Start by getting onto Highway 191 and driving south towards Moab. Once you reach Moab, take the exit for Arches National Park. Follow the park road until you reach the parking lot for Mesa Arch. Note that there is an entrance fee for Arches National Park, which is currently $30 per vehicle for a 7-day pass. The drive from Moab to the park entrance is approximately 15 miles.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, you may need to take a bus or shuttle service from Book Cliffs to Moab. Check local schedules for the nearest bus service to Moab, as options may vary. Once in Moab, you can either use a taxi or rideshare service to reach Arches National Park. Again, be aware of the entrance fee of $30 per vehicle if you are taking a taxi. The taxi ride from Moab to the park should take around 20 minutes.

• Hiking

  After parking at the Mesa Arch parking area, follow the well-marked trail leading to the arch. The hike is approximately 0.5 miles one way and is relatively easy, making it accessible for most tourists. Ensure you have good walking shoes and bring water, especially in warmer months.
