From the Canyonlands National Park entrance, head northeast on UT-191 N for approximately 20 miles. Turn left onto UT-44 N and continue for about 5 miles until you reach a T-intersection. Turn left onto US-191 N and drive for about 15 miles. Then, take a right onto McConkie Rd. Follow McConkie Rd for about 3 miles until you reach the parking area for the McConkie Ranch Petroglyphs. The petroglyphs are located a short hike from the parking area.

While there is no direct public transportation to McConkie Ranch Petroglyphs, you can take a bus from Moab to Vernal via the Greyhound or any local shuttle service. Once you arrive in Vernal, you will need to rent a car or arrange a taxi to reach McConkie Ranch. From Vernal, take US-191 S for about 15 miles, then turn onto McConkie Rd and follow it for about 3 miles to the parking area.
