Walking
From St. Peter's Square, exit the square towards the right side of St. Peter's Basilica. Walk along the Via della Conciliazione, which will lead you away from the square. Continue straight until you reach the Tiber River. Cross the river using the Ponte Sant'Angelo bridge. Once you are on the other side, proceed straight. You will be on Lungotevere in Augusta. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Via di San Gregorio. Turn left onto Via di San Gregorio and follow the road until you reach the entrance to Parco del Celio on your left.
Public Transport
From St. Peter's Square, walk to the nearest bus stop called 'Piazza San Pietro'. Board bus number 64 towards 'Piazza Venezia'. Ride for 5 stops and get off at 'Via di San Gregorio'. From the bus stop, walk straight along Via di San Gregorio, and you will reach Parco del Celio in approximately 10 minutes on your right.
