Once you exit the basilica, walk straight ahead and continue down Via della Conciliazione, which will lead you away from the Vatican. Keep walking until you reach the large intersection at Castel Sant'Angelo. Continue straight past the castle and cross the bridge over the Tiber River. After crossing, turn left onto Lungotevere in Augusta. Walk along this road until you reach the intersection with Via di Ripetta. Turn right and continue walking until you reach the Piazza del Popolo. From there, you will need to navigate through the streets to get to your final destination at Piazza Epiro, which is approximately 3 km away, so be prepared for a bit of walking.
