Walking
From the Vatican Gardens, exit through the main entrance and head towards the main road, Viale Vaticano. Once you reach Viale Vaticano, turn left and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Via della Conciliazione. Cross over at the traffic lights towards the Tiber River. Keep walking along the riverbank until you reach the Ponte Sant'Angelo bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto Via dei Coronari. Follow this street as it curves and leads onto Via di Tor Millina, where you will find a bus stop. Take bus number 81, which will take you towards the Capannelle Racecourse. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at Via Appia Nuova, 1245, which is your final destination.

Public Transport
From the Vatican Gardens, walk to the nearest metro station, Ottaviano. Take Line A (the red line) towards Anagnina. Travel for three stops and get off at the Termini station. At Termini, transfer to Line C (the green line) and take the train towards Montecompatri-Pantano. Alight at the stop named 'Capannelle.' From there, it is a short walk to Via Appia Nuova, 1245, the location of Capannelle Racecourse.

If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a taxi from the Vatican Gardens to Capannelle Racecourse. Look for a taxi stand near the entrance of Vatican City or use a taxi-hailing app. Inform the driver that you are going to Via Appia Nuova, 1245.
