Walking
From the Vatican Gardens, exit through the main gate and head southeast towards the entrance of the Vatican Museums. Once you are outside the museum, continue walking straight along Viale Vaticano until you reach Piazza San Pietro. From there, follow Via della Conciliazione, which will lead you directly to the Tiber River. Cross the river via the Ponte Sant'Angelo, then follow the road to your right to reach Via di San Gregorio. Continue until you see the signs for Circus Maximus, which will be located on your left.

Walking
After exploring the Vatican Gardens, head back to the entrance of the gardens. From there, walk towards the Vatican Museums exit and turn left onto Viale Vaticano. Walk straight until you reach Piazza Risorgimento. Take a left onto Via Cola di Rienzo, and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Via di San Giovanni in Laterano. Turn right and walk straight, and you will notice Circus Maximus ahead.

Public Transport (Bus)
After visiting the Vatican Gardens, exit and walk to the nearest bus stop on Via di Porta Angelica. Take bus number 81 towards 'Piazza Venezia' and travel for about 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Circo Massimo' stop, which is right next to Circus Maximus. This is a convenient option if you prefer not to walk.
