    From the entrance of the Vatican Gardens, head southeast towards Viale Vaticano. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via di Porta Angelica. Turn left onto Via di Porta Angelica and walk until you reach the junction with Via dei Gracchi. Continue straight until you see the entrance to the Vatican Museums on your right. Keep walking straight until you reach Piazza San Pietro, then head towards the main road, Via della Conciliazione. At the end of this road, turn left onto Via di San Giovanni in Laterano, continue walking straight until you find yourself at Piazza Barberini.

    Exit the Vatican Gardens and proceed towards the main road, Viale Vaticano. Follow Viale Vaticano towards the north until you reach the intersection with Via delle Fornaci. Turn right onto Via delle Fornaci and continue until you reach the intersection with Piazza San Pietro. From there, head towards the right side of the square and walk down Via della Conciliazione. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via del Boccaccio, and then turn left. Continue until you reach Piazza Barberini.
