    From the Vatican Pinacoteca, exit the building and head towards the entrance of the Vatican Museums. Once you reach the main exit, turn right onto Viale Vaticano. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Via Leone IV. Turn left onto Via Leone IV and walk for about 5 minutes. You will reach Piazza San Pietro (St. Peter's Square). From here, take the steps down to Via della Conciliazione and continue walking straight. Shortly after, you'll see the Basilica of Santa Maria in Aracoeli ahead, on Scala dell'Arce Capitolina. The entire walk should take around 20-25 minutes.

    From the Vatican Pinacoteca, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is at Piazza San Pietro. Take bus number 40 or 64, which will take you towards Termini Station. After about 10 minutes, get down at the 'Piazza Venezia' stop. From there, walk up the stairs to the left towards the Altare della Patria (Altar of the Fatherland). Continue walking straight for about 3 minutes; you will see the Basilica of Santa Maria in Aracoeli on your right as you approach Scala dell'Arce Capitolina.
