Turn right onto 12th Street SE and walk until you reach the intersection with Walnut Avenue SE. Turn left onto Walnut Avenue SE and proceed until you see the signs for Stewart Knob. The walk will take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on your starting point in South Roanoke.

You can take the Valley Metro Bus. The nearest bus stop in South Roanoke is located at the intersection of South Jefferson Street and 12th Street SE. Board Bus Route 5 toward the Roanoke Civic Center. After a few stops, get off at the stop near the intersection of Walnut Avenue SE and 12th Street SE. From there, walk a short distance north on Walnut Avenue SE, and you will find Stewart Knob. The bus fare is approximately $1.00.
