Getting There

Car
From the Paradise Visitor Center in Mount Rainier National Park, head southeast on the Paradise Road toward Longmire. Continue on the road until you reach the intersection with SR-706. Turn left onto SR-706 E. Follow SR-706 for approximately 17 miles until you reach the junction with SR-7. Turn right onto SR-7 S and drive for about 8 miles. Then, take a left onto SR-161 S, which will lead you directly to Eatonville. Follow SR-161 for about 12 miles. Look for signs directing you to Northwest Trek Wildlife Park, located at 11610 Trek Dr E, Eatonville, WA 98328. The total drive should take about 1 hour and 15 minutes, depending on traffic.

If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus from Mount Rainier National Park to Eatonville. Start by taking the Pierce Transit bus from the Longmire area to Tacoma. From Tacoma, transfer to another bus that goes to Eatonville. The total travel time can vary, but expect it to take approximately 2-3 hours including waiting times. Be sure to check the Pierce Transit schedule for the most current routes and times. After arriving in Eatonville, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach Northwest Trek Wildlife Park, as it is about 5 miles away from the bus stop.
