If you are driving to Gorge Overlook Trail from any location within North Cascades National Park, you will need to head towards Rockport, WA. Start on the North Cascades Highway (State Route 20) and drive towards Rockport. The trailhead is located near the junction of State Route 20 and the Gorge Creek Road. Look for a small parking area on the right side of the highway, just before reaching the Gorge Creek Bridge. There are no fees for parking at the trailhead.

If you are using public transportation, your options are limited as there are no direct bus services to the Gorge Overlook Trail. However, you can take the Skagit Transit bus to Rockport from nearby towns like Mount Vernon. You would need to check the Skagit Transit schedule for the most updated bus times. Once in Rockport, you will need to either arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach the trailhead, as it's approximately 5 miles from the nearest bus stop to the trailhead.
