There is a parking fee of $8 for Wisconsin residents and $11 for non-residents, which can be paid at the entrance.

For those using public transportation, you can take the Bayfield Bus Line from Bayfield to La Pointe. The bus stops at various points in the Apostle Islands area. After disembarking in La Pointe, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach Big Bay State Park, as it is about 3 miles from the bus stop.
