Car
From Prespa National Park, take the SH3 road heading south towards the town of Pogradec. Continue on SH3 for about 30 km until you reach the intersection with the SH4 road. Turn left onto SH4 towards Berat. Follow SH4 for approximately 70 km. As you approach Berat, look for signs directing you to the city center. Once in Berat, follow the signs to 'Berat Castle' or 'Kalivo.' There is a parking area near the entrance to the castle where you can leave your car. Note that parking may incur a small fee.

Public Transportation
To reach Berat Castle from Prespa National Park using public transportation, first make your way to the nearest bus station in Pogradec. Buses run frequently from Pogradec to Berat. The journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at the Berat bus station, you can either walk to the castle or take a local taxi for a short ride. The castle is located approximately 2 km from the bus station. Expect to pay around 300 ALL for the taxi ride or you can enjoy a scenic walk to the castle.
