Walking
From the center of Berat's old town, near the Gorica Bridge, follow signs towards Berat Castle. The Hermit's Path (Shtegu i Hermitit) to St. Michael's Church branches off from the main road leading to the castle. The walk is uphill and takes approximately 10 minutes. Note that the path can be slippery.

From the Berat Bus Terminal, a taxi to the base of the Hermit's Path will cost approximately 500-800 ALL. Taxis are readily available at the terminal. From there, follow the walking directions to the church. A 5km ride in Berat costs about 1800 ALL.
