Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Grand Canyon Village Visitor Center, head northeast on Village Loop Drive. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles, passing by the Bright Angel Lodge. When you reach the intersection with AZ-64, turn right. Continue walking along AZ-64 for approximately 0.2 miles. The Grand Canyon National Park Sign will be on your left, just before the entrance to the national park.

    If you are near the Yavapai Geology Museum, exit the museum and head south towards the edge of the canyon. Follow the Rim Trail until you reach the South Rim Drive. Turn left onto South Rim Drive and follow it for about 0.4 miles. The Grand Canyon National Park Sign will be on your right-hand side as you approach the park entrance.

    If you are at the El Tovar Hotel, exit the hotel and head southeast on Village Loop Drive. Walk for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with AZ-64. Turn left onto AZ-64 and continue for another 0.2 miles. The Grand Canyon National Park Sign will be on your left, just before you reach the park entrance.
