    The Trail of Time is easily accessible by walking along the Rim Trail from various points within Grand Canyon Village. From Mather Point or the Canyon View Visitor Center, it's approximately a half-hour walk to the Yavapai Geology Museum, the starting point of the trail. Follow the paved Rim Trail westward, keeping the canyon rim on your left. The trail is well-marked and relatively flat, making for an easy and scenic walk.

    Utilize the free shuttle bus system within Grand Canyon National Park to reach the Trail of Time.     If driving, park in one of the designated parking lots in Grand Canyon Village. Lots 1-4 are near the Grand Canyon Visitor Center. A park entrance fee of $35 per vehicle is required.
