Getting There

Walking
Starting from the Grand Canyon Visitor Center, exit the building and head south on the paved path leading towards Mather Point. Follow the signs directing you towards the Rim Trail. Walk along the Rim Trail for approximately 0.6 miles, enjoying the breathtaking views along the way. When you reach Yavapai Point, continue following the Rim Trail, keeping the canyon on your left. After about 1.2 miles, you'll spot a sign indicating the trail leading to Grandeur Point. Follow the trail for about 0.3 miles, and you will reach Grandeur Point, a scenic overlook with stunning views.

If you are starting from the El Tovar Hotel, exit the hotel and walk towards the Bright Angel Lodge. From there, pick up the Rim Trail heading east. Follow the Rim Trail for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the junction with the Grandeur Point trail. The path to Grandeur Point will be marked. Continue on this trail for about 0.3 miles to reach the viewpoint.
