From within Saguaro National Park, navigate to the eastern part of the park. If you are in the Saguaro East section, exit the park and head north on Old Spanish Trail Road. Turn left onto Catalina Highway (also known as Mount Lemmon Highway). Continue on Catalina Highway until you reach the Mount Lemmon area. Look for signs indicating the Marshall Gulch Picnic Area, which is approximately 18 miles up the mountain. There are no additional costs for parking at the picnic area.
