To reach the East Mt. Lemmon Highway Lookout from downtown Tucson, start by heading to the Ronstadt Transit Center located at 215 E. Congress St. Take the Sun Tran Bus Route 3 towards 'Eastside' and ride for about 30 minutes until you reach the stop at 'Houghton Rd./Speedway Blvd.' (around 8 stops). From there, transfer to Bus Route 103, which heads towards 'Mount Lemmon.' This route will take you closer to the vicinity of Mt. Lemmon. Once you get off the bus, it is advisable to walk towards the Mount Lemmon Highway, which is approximately a 15-minute walk. Follow the road signs leading up the mountain, and you will eventually reach the lookout point.
