Getting There

Car
From Areni Wine Region, head north on the main road (M2) towards Vayk. Continue for about 12 kilometers until you reach the village of Yeghegnadzor. In Yeghegnadzor, follow the signs toward the village of Gndevaz. After approximately 5 kilometers, turn left onto a smaller road that leads towards the waterfall. Follow this road for about 3 kilometers until you reach the parking area near Waterfall Astghik. The total driving time is around 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic and road conditions.

Public Transportation
From Areni, take a minibus (marshrutka) heading to Yeghegnadzor, which departs regularly from the main bus station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once in Yeghegnadzor, you will need to hire a taxi to reach Waterfall Astghik, as public transportation does not directly reach the waterfall. The taxi ride will take approximately 15 minutes and cost around 2000-3000 AMD (Armenian Dram). Ensure to negotiate the fare before starting the journey.
