Car
From Geghard Monastery, start by heading southwest on the road that leads to Garni. Continue on this road for about 7 kilometers until you reach the village of Garni. As you enter the village, look for signs pointing towards Garni Canyon, which will be on your left. You can park your car near the entrance to the canyon area.

Public Transportation
From Geghard Monastery, walk to the nearest bus stop located on the main road (around 1.5 kilometers from the monastery). Catch a minibus or shared taxi headed towards Garni. The fare is approximately 200-300 AMD (Armenian Dram). Once you arrive in Garni village, get off at the village center and ask locals for directions to Garni Canyon. It's a short walk of about 1 kilometer downhill to the canyon entrance.

Walking
If you prefer to walk from Geghard Monastery to Garni Canyon, take the path leading south from the monastery. Follow the signs towards Garni village. The walk is approximately 7 kilometers and will take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as the terrain can be uneven and the sun can be strong.
