Walking
From the center of Kapan, head south on Tigran Mets Avenue. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with David Bek Street. Turn left onto David Bek Street and continue walking for about 400 meters. You will see a bus stop named 'Kapan Bus Station' on your right. At this point, you can either take a minibus (marshrutka) heading to Vorotan or continue walking. If you choose to walk, stay on David Bek Street for another 1.2 km until the road intersects with Vorotan Street. Follow Vorotan Street for approximately 2 km, enjoying the scenic views along the way. As you approach Vorotnavank, look for signs directing you to the church. The church is located on a hill and will be visible from a distance.

Minibus (Marshrutka)
Start at the Kapan Bus Station located on David Bek Street. Find the minibus marked for 'Vorotan' or any minibus heading in that direction. The fare is usually around 200-300 AMD. The journey will take about 15-20 minutes. Once you get off, ask the driver or locals for directions to Vorotnavank church. It is a short walk from the drop-off point, typically taking 10-15 minutes uphill to reach the church.

If you're feeling adventurous and have access to a bicycle, you can bike from Kapan to Vorotnavank. Start by heading south on Tigran Mets Avenue, then take a left onto David Bek Street. Follow this path for approximately 1.5 km before turning onto Vorotan Street. The distance to the church is about 5 km from Kapan, and the ride will take around 25-30 minutes, depending on your speed. Prepare for some elevation as you approach the church, which is located on a hillside.
