From Vanadzor, take a bus or minibus (marshrutka) to Alaverdi. From Alaverdi, transfer to a local bus or taxi that goes to Ardvi. Check the schedules in advance, as they can vary. From the Ardvi bus stop, it is approximately a 2-kilometer walk to the monastery. A taxi from Alaverdi to Ardvi would cost approximately 1500-2500 AMD.
