The last part of the drive may be on a gravel road, so ensure your vehicle is suitable for this terrain. Look out for signs indicating the petroglyphs, and park your car in the designated area.

For those using public transportation, take a minibus (marshrutka) from Goris to Kapan. The minibus ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you reach Kapan, you may need to hire a taxi to reach the Ughtasar Petroglyphs, as public transport options from Kapan to Ughtasar are limited. The taxi ride to the petroglyphs will take approximately 30 minutes. Confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey; expect to pay around 3000-5000 AMD (Armenian Dram) for the ride.
