From the city of Goris, take the M2 highway heading south towards Vorotan. After approximately 20 km, you will see signs for Vorotnaberd Fortress. Turn right onto the road leading to Vorotan village. Continue on this road for about 10 minutes until you reach the parking area near the fortress. Note that the road can be narrow and winding, so drive carefully.

Start by taking a minibus (marshrutka) from Goris to Vorotan, which departs from the main bus station. The journey takes about 30 minutes and costs around 500 AMD. Once you arrive in Vorotan village, you can either walk to the fortress (approximately 30 minutes uphill) or hire a local taxi to take you directly to the fortress. Taxi prices may vary but expect to pay around 1000-1500 AMD for the short ride.
