The train ride is free for short trips within the Brisbane city area. Once you arrive at South Bank station, exit onto Grey Street and head towards the Brisbane River. Follow the riverbank path, and you will soon see the Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA) directly ahead at Stanley Place. Total walking distance from the station to GoMA is approximately 500 meters.

    From West End, make your way to the nearest bus stop on Boundary Street. Take bus route 199 towards the City. The bus fare is approximately $3.50 for a single trip. After a short ride of about 10 minutes, alight at the stop labeled 'Cultural Centre' on Melbourne Street. From there, it’s a short walk to the Gallery of Modern Art. Head towards the Brisbane River, and follow the path along the riverbank until you reach GoMA at Stanley Place.
