Car
If you're traveling by car from Hinchinbrook Island, take the ferry from Lucinda to the mainland. The ferry departs regularly and the cost is approximately AUD 20 per vehicle. Once you arrive on the mainland, head south on the Bruce Highway (A1) towards Tully. After about 30 minutes, take the exit towards Tully Gorge National Park (signs will direct you). Continue on the Tully Gorge Road, which leads directly into the park. The park entrance is well marked, and there are parking facilities available.

To reach Tully Gorge National Park using public transport, first take the ferry from Lucinda to the mainland (approximately AUD 20 per person). From the ferry terminal in Lucinda, you can catch a bus to Tully. Once in Tully, you need to arrange a taxi or rideshare service to take you to Tully Gorge National Park, as public transport does not go directly to the park entrance. It's advisable to check local bus schedules in advance for return trips.
