Car
From central Sydney, take the M4 Motorway heading west. Continue on the M4 for approximately 40 kilometers until you reach the exit for Mulgoa Road (Baskerville Rd). Follow the signs for Mulgoa and merge onto Mulgoa Rd. Continue on Mulgoa Rd, which will eventually turn into Hawkesbury Rd as you approach Yellomundee Regional Park. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Hawkesbury Lookout. There is a parking area located near the lookout, but be aware that parking might be limited during weekends and public holidays.
Public Transportation
To reach Hawkesbury Lookout using public transport, start at the nearest train station in Sydney (e.g., Central Station). Take a train towards the Blue Mountains, alighting at the Penrith Station. From Penrith Station, you can take Bus 795 towards Hawkesbury Heights. The bus will take you close to the Yellomundee Regional Park. Be sure to check the latest bus timetable, as service frequency may vary. Once you get off the bus, follow the signs to Hawkesbury Lookout, which is about a 15-20 minute walk from the bus stop.
