Car
From Sydney, take the M1 Motorway towards Wollongong. After approximately 30km, take the exit towards Heathcote and continue on the Princes Highway (A1). Follow the signs for Royal National Park. Once you enter the park, continue on Lady Carrington Drive until you reach the Royal National Park Visitor Centre at 2 Lady Carrington Dr, Royal Nat'l Park NSW 2232. Note that there is an entry fee for vehicles; currently, it's around AUD 12 per vehicle.

Public Transportation
To reach the Royal National Park Visitor Centre via public transport from Sydney, take a train from Central Station to Sutherland Station on the T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra line. From Sutherland Station, catch the 991 bus towards Audley. The bus will take you directly into the park, and you should disembark at the Royal National Park Visitor Centre stop. The bus fare is around AUD 4.40 each way, and make sure to check the bus timetable in advance.
