Walking
If you are already within Wilson's Promontory National Park, the most common way to reach Sealers Cove is by hiking. Start from the Tidal River Campground, which is the main accommodation area and visitor information center in the park. From the campground, head south along the Sealers Cove-Refuge Cove Walking Track. It is a 10-kilometer (approximately 3-4 hours one way) trek through beautiful coastal landscapes. Follow the signs for Sealers Cove, and be mindful of the trail markers. The path is well-marked, but ensure you have appropriate footwear and supplies, as the terrain can be uneven.
Public Transport
Public transport options to Wilson's Promontory are limited. However, if you are coming from Melbourne, you can take a train to Leongatha and then a bus to Wilsons Promontory. Once you arrive at the Tidal River visitor area, follow the same walking route as described above to reach Sealers Cove.
Driving
If you are driving to Wilson's Promontory National Park, head southeast from Melbourne. Take the M1 highway towards Gippsland, and follow the signs to Wilson's Promontory. Once you reach the park entrance, pay the park entry fee, which is approximately AUD 17 per vehicle for a day pass. Drive to the Tidal River Campground where you can park your car. From there, proceed on foot as mentioned in the walking guidance to reach Sealers Cove.
