    If you are driving within Wilson's Promontory National Park, start from the Tidal River area. Head south on Tidal River Road. Continue straight as the road becomes Wilsons Promontory Road. Follow the signs for the 'Prom' and stay on this road for about 10 kilometers. After approximately 10 kilometers, you will see a sign for the Sparkes Lookout. Turn left onto the dirt track leading to the lookout. The road can be rough, so proceed with caution.

    If you prefer to hike, park your car at the Tidal River parking area. From Tidal River, take the track towards the 'Mount Oberon Summit'. Follow the signs until you reach the intersection where the Sparkes Lookout trail branches off. The hike to Sparkes Lookout is about a 4.5-kilometer return trip from this point and takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. The trail is well-marked, but ensure you have proper footwear and carry water.
