Getting There

    If you are driving, start from the Wilsons Promontory National Park entrance. Take the main road into the park, following signs for Tidal River. Once you reach Tidal River, continue on the road towards Darby River. After approximately 10 kilometers, look for the sign indicating the Darby River to Tongue Point walking track. Park your car at the designated parking area near the starting point of the walking track, which is located at the Darby River campgrounds.

  • Walking

    From the Darby River parking area, follow the well-marked walking track towards Tongue Point. The walk is approximately 4.5 kilometers one way and will take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace. The track is relatively easy but be prepared for some uneven terrain. Along the way, you'll enjoy scenic views of the coastline and surrounding nature. Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water and snacks.

  • Public Transportation

    If you are using public transportation, take a bus to the nearest town, Foster. From Foster, you can arrange for a shuttle service to Wilsons Promontory National Park.
