If you are traveling by car, take the A10 motorway and exit at the 'Schladming' exit. Follow the B320 towards Ramsau am Dachstein. Once in Ramsau, follow the signs for 'Dachstein' and 'Dachstein Gletscherbahn'. After approximately 10 km, you will arrive at the base station for the Dachstein cable car. Park your car at the designated parking area (parking fees may apply). From the cable car station, take the gondola to the top station, which is the starting point for your visit to Eispalast Dachstein.

For those using public transportation, take a train to Schladming. From Schladming, catch the bus (Line 962) towards Ramsau am Dachstein. Get off at the 'Dachstein Gletscherbahn' stop. From there, you will need to take the cable car up to the Dachstein glacier. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may vary. The bus fare is approximately €3.50, and the cable car ticket costs around €38 for a round trip.
