Walking
Start at the main square (Marktplatz) in Hallstatt. From there, head towards the lake and take the path that leads to the church (Evangelische Kirche). You will see the church on your left after a short walk. Continue past the church, and you will find a path leading uphill. This is the path to the Ossuary. Follow this path for about 10 minutes, and you will reach the entrance to the Ossuary, which is located within the cemetery adjacent to the church.
Walking
If you are near the Hallstatt Museum, exit the museum and turn right. Walk along the lakeside promenade until you reach the main square (Marktplatz). From there, follow the previous directions towards the church and then up the path to the Ossuary.
Walking
If you are coming from the funicular station (if you took the funicular up to the viewpoint), walk down the path that leads towards the village. Once you reach the main road, turn left and walk straight until you reach the main square. From the square, proceed towards the church and follow the path to the Ossuary.
