    From Innsbruck, head to the Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof (main train station). Take the regional train towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The train journey takes about 1 hour. Get off at the Grainau station. Upon exiting the station, follow the signs to the Eibsee bus stop. Board the bus heading to Eibsee, which takes approximately 10 minutes. Once you arrive at Eibsee, follow the signs to the Seilbahn Zugspitze station, which is about a 5-minute walk from the bus stop.

  • Train and Shuttle

    Start at Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof and take a train to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. This journey lasts about 1 hour. At the Garmisch-Partenkirchen station, look for the Zugspitze shuttle bus service, which operates regularly. Board the shuttle bus that goes to Eibsee. After about 30 minutes, you will reach Eibsee. From there, it’s a short walk to the Seilbahn Zugspitze cable car station.

    Begin your journey at Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof and take tram line 3 towards Igls. Get off at the stop for Innsbruck, Bahnhof. From there, take a train to Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
