Public Bus
From Kitzbühel, head to the nearest bus stop, Kitzbühel Bahnhof (Train Station). Take the bus number 832 to Bad Reichenhall. This journey will take about 50 minutes. Once you reach the stop at Berchtesgaden, transfer to bus number 838 towards Königssee. Stay on this bus until you reach the stop named 'Königssee'. The entire journey should take around 1.5 hours. From the Königssee bus stop, you will need to walk about 15 minutes to reach St. Bartholomew's Church. Follow the path that leads you alongside the lake, and you will see the church after a short walk along the shore.

Train and Boat
Start at Kitzbühel Bahnhof (Train Station) and take a train to Berchtesgaden. The train ride will take approximately 1 hour. Once in Berchtesgaden, head to the boat dock which is about a 20-minute walk from the train station. Take the boat from the dock to St. Bartholomew's Church. The boat ride takes around 30 minutes and provides stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains. After disembarking at St. Bartholomew, you will be right at the church.

If you are feeling adventurous and want to explore the area on foot, start by walking to the Kitzbühel Bahnhof (Train Station) and take the train to Berchtesgaden. From Berchtesgaden, you can walk to Königssee, which is about a 30-40 minute walk. Once you reach the lake, you can take a scenic walk along the shoreline to St. Bartholomew's Church. This entire walking journey will take several hours, so be prepared and wear comfortable shoes.
