If you're traveling by car, navigate to the address Auf der Wehr 21, 3620 Spitz, Austria. From there, park at the Ruine Hinterhaus parking lot located near the Schifffahrtsmuseum. Note that there is no direct access to the Ruine by car; you will need to hike to the site which is a scenic walk of about 30-45 minutes uphill.

If you prefer public transportation, take a train to the nearest station, which is in Krems or Melk. From Krems, you can take bus line 120 to Spitz. Once you arrive in Spitz, walk to Auf der Wehr 21 and look for the Schifffahrtsmuseum. Park your bike or leave your luggage there if you have any, and begin your hike to Ruine Hinterhaus, which will take approximately 30-45 minutes.

Once you reach the parking area or the Schifffahrtsmuseum, follow the marked hiking trails leading to Ruine Hinterhaus.
