Walking
Start at the central square in Assomada, known as Praça de Assomada. From the square, head southeast on Avenida de Cabo Verde towards the roundabout. Continue straight until you reach the main road, Rua 5 de Julho. Take a left onto Rua 5 de Julho and walk for about 10-15 minutes. You will pass several local shops and cafes. As you walk, keep an eye out for local signage and ask for directions if needed, as locals are friendly and helpful. Continue until you reach a bus station; the Presidential Palace is located in Praia, so you may need to take a local 'aluguer' (shared taxi) or bus from the station to Praia. Once in Praia, follow local signs to the Presidential Palace.
