Car
If you are driving within Joshua Tree National Park, head towards the Hidden Valley area. You will need to enter through either the West Entrance (from Joshua Tree) or the North Entrance (from Twentynine Palms). From the West Entrance, follow Park Boulevard for about 5 miles, and then turn left onto Hidden Valley Road. Continue for approximately 1 mile until you reach the Hidden Valley parking area, where the trailhead is located. Parking is free, but remember that a park entrance fee is required unless you have an annual pass.

If you are using public transportation, you can take a bus or shuttle to Joshua Tree National Park from nearby cities. Once you arrive at the park, you will need to rent a car or use a rideshare service to reach the Hidden Valley Nature Trail. Follow the same directions as above from the park entrance to the Hidden Valley parking area. Keep in mind that public transportation options may be limited, and it's advisable to check schedules in advance.

From the center of Joshua Tree, it’s about a 10-mile ride to the Hidden Valley area. From Twentynine Palms, it’s approximately 7 miles. Ensure that you have appropriate biking gear and plenty of water, as conditions can be challenging.
