Getting There

  • Car

    From the center of Mammoth Lakes, head east on Main Street towards Old Mammoth Road. After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto Minaret Road. Continue for approximately 2.5 miles, enjoying the scenic views. At the intersection with Mammoth Scenic Loop, turn right. Follow Mammoth Scenic Loop for about 1.5 miles until you reach the Inyo Craters parking area, which will be on your right. There is no parking fee, but be sure to arrive early during peak season.
