If you are driving from the central area of Mammoth Lakes, start by heading southwest on Main St toward Minaret Rd. Continue on Main St for about 0.5 miles. Turn right onto Minaret Rd and continue straight for about 1 mile. The Earthquake Fault will be on your left at 7 Minaret Rd. There is a parking area available nearby.

If you are using public transportation, take the Eastern Sierra Transit Authority (ESTA) bus from the Mammoth Lakes Town Center. Board the bus that heads toward the Mammoth Mountain area. After approximately a 15-minute ride, get off at the stop closest to Minaret Rd. Walk about 0.3 miles down Minaret Rd, and you will reach Earthquake Fault at 7 Minaret Rd. Check the ESTA schedule for the latest bus times.

If you are staying in a nearby hotel, you can reach Earthquake Fault on foot. From the Village at Mammoth, head east on Minaret Rd, which is approximately a 1-mile walk. Follow the signs towards the Earthquake Fault, which will be on your left side as you approach the destination.
