From Redding, CA, take I-5 North for about 40 miles. Take exit 685 for CA-89 toward Mt. Shasta. Continue on CA-89 North for approximately 25 miles. You will pass through the town of McCloud. The Bartells Camp historic marker will be located on the left side at 16732 CA-89, McCloud, CA 96057. Look for the historical marker sign as you approach.
